May the Faith be With You (ZonderKidz)_225_350_Book.1700.cover

QUICK OVERVIEW:

May the Faith Be With You is a brand-new 180-day devotional perfect for the space obsessed kid in your life. With section headings like “Master Moment” and “Ways of Wisdom,” this book shows kids the true way to a life of adventure, courage, and wisdom—Jesus Christ.

My Review:

This is a cute devotional for kids. The 180 days are only about a page long which means it will take about 5 minutes or so to do each day. At the beginning of the book it gives tips and instructions on how to use the devotional and how to get the most out of this book. I advise parents to do this along with their children. By doing it this way you can open up opportunities for instruction and discussion. There are also tips on how to get more out of the book by teaching kids to read the verses directly before and after the devotion verse. It will help the child to put the verse into context on who the author is speaking to and the time period it was written.

It’s a great way to get your kids in the Word and it uses a fun title to catch their eye and attention. I personally love that they are not long. Kids tend to lose interest quickly and while its important for them to learn to get into the Word this does it in a way that works for their short attention span. I recommend this book for ages 6-12. It’s a bit much for younger kids and its too young for teens.  This would make a great gift for the kid, boy or girl, in your life.
