Rebels by Jill Williamson Review

735779: Rebels Rebels
By Jill Williamson / ZonderKidz

Oh my goodness I felt like I have waited forever for this book to come out. When I finally got the chance to get it I jumped, of course I had to. I MUST complete the series. 735779

This is the continuation of the Safe Lands story about three brother’s when there village is taken captive by the “Safe Landers” learn how to accept one another, regardless of their differences. They must work together in order to find a way to escape back to their village. Things become even worse when they find out that one of their neighboring allies have also been captured and now they all must work together. Can they find a way out?

In the final book of the Safe Lands series. Jill answers many questions that were left in the previous two books. She tied it up really well, even though I really would have loved to find out more about what happened AFTER the book ended. But as with a good series it ended in a way that you can imagine how things go from there. I just didn’t want it to end. She again kept me captivated. It was really hard to put this book down.  It was definitely worth the wait.

The writing is excellent and like I have mentioned before it had that “Hunger Games” feel to it. If you liked the “Hunger Games” series I believe you will like this one as well.  I’ve recommended this series to many friends, family and co-workers. I can’t wait to read more books by Jill Williamson. This book is a teen series but adults will enjoy it just as much.

It’s available in softcover at Christianbook.com for $8.19.
