Our Thoughts: 022

My 8th grader played this and I sat and watched. I have to say that we thought this was a really awesome game. There is so much information about the Maya you will want to sit and play it. It’s a great game. With the information and the challenges it ensures that you remember what you are taught, plus you learn central American geography with the match, label and shade questions. There are tons of different puzzles at each Maya site as well as a dig to unearth hidden treasures. As you progress through the game you collect clues to help you find out who the looter is. I’ve even played it with Geek Girl.

We played this a few days a week as something fun to do during our summer vacation. It’s a way to sneak in some extra learning.

Geek Girl thought it was a lot of fun and looks forward to playing it more. As will I. I love to continue learning and with this games you can do that. I recommend this as a fun way to study the ancient Maya civilization.

There is also an iPad version of this game if you would rather download that.
