Super Charged Science Review

Who doesn’t love fun hands-on science? The girls and I got to try out Supercharged Science’s e-Science curriculum in order to review it. This science curriculum is loads of fun. This is an online science curriculum developed by science professor, Aurora Lipper,  who wanted to make science fun for younger kids before they get to college. It’s self paced and you can do as much or as little as you would like. This curriculum can be used alone or along side your current science curriculum to make it more hands on.  There are conversion charts available for you to download so you can see how e-science can work with your current photo escience-full-600px_zps738b5d59.jpgcurriculum.
So what do you think something like this would cost you?  Surprisingly only $37 per month for the entire family for K-8th grades. K – 12th grades would be $57 a month and this includes over 600 hands on experiments that you can do at home.
This curriculum is designed to be used 3 to 5 days a week and I must say we quickly found this one as a fun and engaging way that all three kids can learn science together. My older ones can help the younger one learn. Below is some pics from trying out some quick and fun activities that you can use to get started. We microwaved soap, created a plasma grape, built flying contraptions and so much more. This science is even fun for me. I am enjoying the ease of this and we are using it as our main science for the remainder of the year. Which my eldest was VERY excited about.
What Momma Likes:
  • The ease of use, the planning has pretty much been done for me.
  • The video’s. I can watch them before the kids so I can make sure that the experiments are going as they should.
  • The flexibility. If we don’t have the time to do the experiment for the day we can let them watch the video of the experiment being done by Aurora.

What the girls like:

  • They can make things and try things.
  • They can see things blow up… lol

We give Supercharged Science 5 thumbs WAY up.
