Five Minute Friday: Look

Today I am joining in with Five Minute Friday. Here are the rules:

1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
3. And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community..

Today’s topic is: Look.

We look for love. We look for money. We look for peace. We look for friends. We look for family.  We are constantly looking for something. We are looking for organization, normalization, health and fun. You can’t go a day without looking for something. We look for our keys, our phones our wallets.

What we should always be looking for is God in His word. Focusing on it and seeking Him. We look and trust in Him we will find so many of the things we have been looking for. Usually when we are looking for love and peace and money its just an outward cry of how much we are really looking for God in our lives.

Look no further than the Word. Look no further in God. Don’t fill yourself up with all the other STUFF and stop looking for those things in all the wrong places. Because it will just leave you empty and looking for more.

  1. I love the deer picture! And I agree with you wholeheartedly. His word is the best place to look for all we need! After you at Lisa-Jo’s! Happy Friday!
