The Girls Still Got It by Liz Curtis Higgs {Review}

Description: Walk with Ruth as she journeys to Bethlehem, certain of her calling, yet uncertain of her future with her mother-in-law. Bringing this rags-to-riches story alive with her novel approach to Bible study, Higgs helps you see how God works to redeem each loss and disappointment in Ruth and Naomi’s lives – and yours! Includes discussion questions and a study guide.

My Review:

I love Bible studies that not only share a lot of information but are written in a way that keeps your attention. Liz Curtis Higgs knows just how to do that. The story or Ruth has always been a favorite of mine. Liz writes the study in novel form so not only are we getting all the insightful information that she has learned throughout studying this subject herself, we are also getting a story that we want to read and have a hard time putting down.

The book also includes resources for more study and discussion questions to use in your personal study or as a group study. I highly recommend this book for your personal study library.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars. It is one that I will read again.
