Her life becomes driven by one force: revenge against the drunk driver who destroyed everything. Can Hannah find forgiveness and her faith before her all-consuming bitterness destroys the rest of her life?

My Thoughts:

Waiting for Morning is a great book about the life of Hannah Ryan, a woman who grew up in a Christian home and has lived a Christian life for a long time. Yet something tragic happens to her and she realizes that bad things can happen to good people, even Christians.

I really had a hard time putting this book down and enjoyed the tale as only Karen can tell it. My heart went out to this woman, and yes I realize she is fictional. But Karen has a way of writing where you feel as if these people are real. The characters in her stories could be anyone.

This is an older book by Karen but definitely one worth picking up if you haven’t read it already. I give this book 5 stars.
