Gabby’s Stick-to-It Day by Sheila Walsh {Review}

Gabby’s Stick-to-It Day by Sheila Walsh318056_1_ftc

An excellent tool to help teach your little girls about perseverance, this wonderfully illustrated book follows Gabby, God’s Little Angel, as she tries to keep up with her charge Sophie, who always manages to find trouble in everything she does. In this second book, Sophie is attempting to help others, by washing the family dog, and helping her little brother to read but when things start to go wrong she is ready to quit trying. Gabby must fly to Sophie’s rescue to help encourage her to keep trying and to teach her what the Bible says about perseverance:  "We must not become tired of doing good. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9 NCV)

My Review:

I was so excited to get to review this product in ebook format. I got the opportunity to meet Sheila Walsh at the Women of Faith event that I attended in Charlotte, NC back in October and she signed my copy of the 1st book in this series.  I gave that copy to my little angel when I got home. This story is so cute. It’s a great story about persevering and not giving up. It will help teach young girls to stick with things even when those things are hard. The pictures are darling and fun. I am looking forward to adding this one to my book shelf.  If you are fan of Sheila’s Gigi books you will absolutely love this series.
