I heard my 6 year old daughter yell to her sister while playing outside “ahhhh it’s raining bugs!”
You know that is not something I would have ever imagined to hear a child scream. My children are not campers by no means. We have camped in a tent in the backyard a couple of times and every single time we ended up coming inside at some point during the night because of a sound, a bug or they just can’t sleep out there anymore. If you gave them a
choice between a beautiful camp site on a lake where they could fish and swim and enjoy nature with a Hotel and heated pool they would choose the hotel and pool every single time. Of course that is so much like me. I’m not much of a camper either and yet here I am volunteering to go with my 9 year old daughters Girl Scout troop. It should be a very interesting weekend.

I know what you mean! I am not really a camper either, I love my comfy bed and air conditioning. I am also going to the Girl Scout camp out in May with my girls. I find myself looking forward to being with them and spending time with them, but I am definitely going to miss the comforts of home! Y'all have fun on your camp out!
